Angels In Blue Charity Golf Tournament

To benefit the Tucson Police Foundation

We are pleased and excited to announce the second annual "Angels In Blue" charity golf tournament. The 2008 tournament will be held on Saturday, November 1 at the Arizona National Golf Course. Once again the proceeds from the tournament will benefit a law enforcement family in need and The Tucson Police Foundation. Registration will begin at 12:00 noon with a shotgun start at 1:00 P.M.

The "Angels In Blue" charity tournament was established in 2007 by Tucson police officers to benefit law enforcement families that are dealing with serious medical problems and need assistance with the associated medical expenses not covered by insurance. The Charity's mission is to provide financial assistance for any law enforcement families that are in dire need due to serious medical problems within the family. The charity also contributes a portion of the proceeds to the Tucson Police Foundation to assist with other charitable contributions associated with the Tucson Police Department. Last year the "Angels In Blue" charity golf tournament contributed over $10,000 to the chosen family to provide assistance with their terminally ill teenage son.

The Tucson Police Foundation is generously sponsoring the event this year. The tournament will again be a scramble format. The entry fee is $125 per player with different levels of sponsorships available. The entry fee includes:
