Never before has safety been such a hallmark issue among the nation's cities and towns. The imprint from the September 11 attacks, coupled with the incidents of crime and violence in our communities, has inspired a new national resilience… and nowhere is this resilience more evident than in Tucson, Arizona.
Friends of the Force:
Empowering a community to promote public safety requires a spirited partnership between the public and private sectors. Tucson's law enforcement officials, community organizations, places of worship, educational institutions, service clubs, healthcare facilities, and scores of stakeholders in safety must come together with the collective resolve to build a safe community.
